VHS PANIC is a territory-claiming arcade game wrapped inside an old tube TV.

You're restoring damaged VHS tapes — but someone left the tracking all wrong. The screen is nothing but static. Cut through the noise to reveal the movie hidden underneath, but watch out: signal interference is bouncing around and it'll destroy your progress if it touches your trail.

HOW TO PLAY

Move along the edges of cleared territory. When you venture into the static, you leave a trail behind you. Connect that trail back to safe ground and everything you've enclosed gets restored — the static clears and the movie appears underneath.

But be careful: if an interference glitch hits your trail before you close it, you lose a life and start over. Reveal 80% of the tape to complete it and move on to the next one.

8 BOOTLEG VHS TAPES TO RESTORE

Each level hides a pixel-art parody of a 90s blockbuster. We can't tell you which ones — that would spoil the fun. Let's just say the tracking on these tapes is... creatively off.
